Arne Ulvik Eid er ansatt i KikkertSpesialisten AS.
The test reports are prepared by KikkertSpesialisten AS, which
is one of the largest binocular and telescope dealers in Norway. KikkertSpesialisten
supplies all the brands tested. We are a dealer only and do not have import
contracts with any brands. Our sister company Optiline AS is an authorized
distributor of Tele Vue and Opticron in Norway. The test reports
are updated regularly due to optical improvements and new models released.
They are made for two purposes: KikkertSpesialisten uses them to select what
models to recommend and stock, and the customers get information to compare
models. KikkertSpesialisten makes test reports for both binoculars and telescopes.

At the moment we have no English translations
of the test reports. However, in 1999 we published a test of the top of the
line 10x40/10x42 binoculars, in which you will see the English words for the
different test parameters. Download this English test (pdf file) here: Hent
